Rehabilitation
Fred
They had to carefully reset my 4 month old bones together, then reinforce them with pins so they could heal properly.
The Surgeon had to find all the breaks before planning the best way to put my leg back in one piece
Once the bones were set, and the pins were in place, they had to suture everything together, then stitch me back together.
This is how my leg looked after surgery,  I now appreciate having fur.  :)
After I got out of the hospital, I had to be in lock down for many weeks while my leg healed.  My fur all grew back before I was healthy enough  to run and play.  But a couple times a day I get out into this play area to stretch my other legs and walk a bit.
